Robert “Bob” Lee Webster, 90, of Eufaula passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Solara Hospital in Muskogee. Bob was born on January 23, 1923, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Lon Jefferson and Della Mae (Lee) Webster. He graduated from Classen High School in 1941. He owned Webster Steel Erection Company of Oklahoma City. Bob had a hand in building the St. Louis Arch, the World’s Largest McDonalds bridge over the Will Rogers Turnpike and the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. He built many control towers, runways and troop barracks to support the war effort during World War II. In his later years he built many lake cabins around Eufaula. On February 9, 1970, Bob married Naomi Q. Lane in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include his wife, Naomi Webster, of the home; his daughters, Teri Austin & husband Warren of Jenks, Evette Lamka & husband Bob Reynolds of Palmyra, VA and Ginger Cooley & husband Ed of Orlando, FL; sons, Jerry Fraser & wife Kathy of Eufaula and Jeff Fraser of Stigler;; brother, James Webster & wife Phyllis of Palmyra, VA; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.
