Robert "Bob" George Woehleke

Robert (Bob) George Woehleke   Sep 14, 1951-Oct 10, 2023

Bob was born in San Francisco, CA to Ruth and George Woehleke. He grew up in Portland Oregon, Los Angeles California, and Wilton Connecticut.  He graduated from Wilton High School in 1969 and from Oklahoma City University majoring in Physical Education. He played all intramural team sports as a member of Sigma Lambda Chi Fraternity.

Bob remained in Oklahoma City where he became a skilled craftsman for General Builders Supply Company manufacturing custom doors and shutters.

Fish are safer now that Bob has relocated to the streams and lakes of the great beyond.  Even as a young boy, Bob had a knack for fishing, catching limits when others were skunked.  As a Boy Scout, he backpacked the High Sierras and served as a summer camp counselor.  Other passions included rooting for the L.A. Dodgers and the OU Sooners, especially once he made Oklahoma his home.  Bob loved gardening, spending time at his Lake Eufaula cabin, and spending many hours in his ‘back forty’ raising vegetables.

Bob worked hard, played hard, and especially enjoyed and appreciated his many friends, who along with his family will miss him.  We all give thanks for his life with us.
