Richard Lee Hampton

Richard Lee Hampton, 53, of Eufaula, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home. Richard was born on April 29, 1962, in Wagoner, Oklahoma the son of Richard and Sue (Neal) Hampton. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1981. On December 13, 1999, Richard married Sandra Benson in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a loving husband and father. He worked for DP for twenty-eight years. He currently worked for NOV in McAlester as a machinist having worked there for three years. He was a ham radio operator. Survivors include: his wife, Sandra, of the home; his mother, Sue Hampton of Stidham; his sons and their families, Camron & Teri Benson, Billy & Courtney and Camo Benson; Henry Riegger and Shirley Riegger; his sisters, Paula Hampton and Betty A. Schott and his nephews, Jason Thomas Hampton and Jamie Lee Hampton and a great nephew, Ethan Richard Hampton. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Hampton.
