Richard "Bo" Mitchell

Bo was born on May 2, 1941 in Fame, Oklahoma to Frank Reed and Ola Mae (Fleming) Mitchell. He attended school in Fame and Stidham. In 1961, Bo married Mary Ann Pearce. He worked as a crane operator in bridge construction for over forty years. On June 10, 1987, Bo married Georgia Kay Pendleton in Poteau, Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bo also loved to tinker. Survivors include: his wife, Georgia, of the home; four sons, Christopher Mitchell; Alan Mitchell, both of OKC, OK; Stacy Mitchell and wife, Kama, of Merriam, KS; Mike Mitchell and wife, Ruth, of Guthrie, OK; two daughters, Carla Mitchell, of OKC, OK; Tabitha Mitchell, of Eufaula, OK; two sisters, Carolyn Davidson and husband, Alan, of Peggs, OK; Katherine Downum and husband, Willard Ray, of Sand Springs, OK; one aunt Mamie Fleming; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ola Mae Mitchell; one daughter, Belinda; one infant sister; two aunts, Sue and Ann; and one uncle, Wayne Fleming.
