Rebecca Carol Lane

Becky was born on April 30, 1959 in Checotah, Oklahoma to John Carl and Billie Kathryn (Edwards) Burdine. She attended Stidham Public School and Eufaula High School. On December 3, 1976, Becky married Leroy Lane at the Church of Christ in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker helping on the farm with the cattle and watermelon. As her children got older, Becky went to work as a librarian and cook at Stidham Public School for over ten years. Becky loved all the kids at school and always made sure that each and every one received a gift for Christmas. She always seemed to know what they wanted. One year, Becky bought them all a pocket knife. Becky later worked at the Eufaula Pharmacy for over five years. She was a member of the Lenna Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Leroy Lane, of the home; her dad, John Burdine, of Lenna; son, Joshua Lane and wife, Tanika, of Lenna; daughter, Dalina McGee and husband, Kenneth, of Lenna; sisters: Marsha Kaler and husband, Lynn, of Hanna; Joyce Shaver and husband, David, of Lenna; sister in-law, Judy Polson and husband, Jack, of Eufaula; grandchildren: Hallie and Evan Lane; Brent, Maddy, and Emma McGee; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Billie Edwards Burdine; brother, Orvil Burdine; sister, Rhonda Kay Turner; nieces: Stephanie Enis; Laura Burdine; and one great niece, Ryleigh Enis.
