Phyllis Nadine O'Brien

Phyllis Nadine O"Brien, 83, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Cumbernauld Village. Phyllis was born on October 1, 1930, in Carthage, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence Leslie and Lottie Esther (Hedworth) Farthing. She graduated from Wapato High School in Washington in 1949. On May 27, 1952, Phyllis married Bob O"Brien. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1982. Phyllis worked for the Oklahoma State Park of Tourism. Survivors include: her sister, Virginia Lee Moore of Winfield, KS; her nieces, Karen Bond, Linda Hamlin, Deena Amidon, and Missy Green; her nephews, Bob Osterhout, Bill Osterhout and Ed Green. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Wilma Farthing Green.
