Pauline was born on May 15, 1923 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Tom and Eliza (Phillips) Manley. She was raised and educated in Eufaula, Oklahoma. On September 18, 1961, Pauline married Rev. Woodrow “Amos” Bean, who preceded her in death in 1997. She worked at a sewing factory for 5 years in Eufaula, then as a health care provider for human services for over 15 years in the Eufaula area. Pauline was a life time member of the Artussee Indian Baptist Church, where she was baptized in 1933, at the age of 10. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include: her son, Elliott Fields, of the home; one sister in-law, Cynthia Manley, of Tulsa, OK; two granddaughters, Edna Pauline Fields, of Tulsa, OK; Shelia Desautel, of Washington State; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and ElizaPhillips; her husband, Rev. Woodrow “Amos” Bean; one son, Arnold Fields; one grandson, John Fields; and one brother, Frederick Manley.
