Patty Lynn Bedford

Patty Lynn Bedford, 63, of Eufaula, passed away on August 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Patty was born on May 25, 1955 in Eufaula to Grover Lee and Eva Mae (Carruthers) McQuay. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1974. On June 11, 1972, Patty married Jack Bedford, Jr. They were happily married for forty-six years. She received her Associate's Degree from Connors State College and then Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State University in 1985. Patty worked as an Elementary School Teacher in Webbers Falls for thirty years and loved every minute. She was a proud member of the Eufaula First United Methodist Church. Patty loved to read and watch her grandkids play sports and other activities. She loved spending time with family and friends. Most of all, she loved traveling and dancing with her sweetheart, Jack. Survivors include: her husband, Jack Bedford, Jr., of the home; daughters: Laura Holt, of Muskogee, OK; Mindi Peters and husband, Jason, of Eufaula, OK; and Meredith Terrell and husband, Brandon, of Checotah, OK; brothers: Leon McQuay and wife, Carol, of Sperry, OK; Johnny McQuay and wife, Nancy, of Eufaula, OK; and Randy McQuay and wife, Carmelita, of Ada, OK; step mother in-law, Barbara Bedford, of Corinth, TX; sisters and brothers in-law: Carla and Gerald Gilliam, of Poteau, OK; Charles and Vicki Coleman, of Ft. Gibson, OK; Greg and Debbie Willmon, of Denton, TX; Tonie and Jimmie Morgan, of Denton, TX; Brenda Priest, of Corinth, TX; and ; seven grandchildren: Mikayla Yarbrough and husband, Tristan; Kylea Terrell, Haiden Peters, Brayden Terrell, Miley Holt, Ava Peters, and Crew Terrell; uncle, Bo McQuay, of Eufaula, OK; and aunt, Jo Sneed, of Weatherford, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gerald McQuay and sister, Nadine Martin.
