Patsy Sue Mcdonald

Patsy Sue McDonald, 86, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Patsy was born on September 18, 1934, in Hanna, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oscar "O.F." and Mattie (Johnson) Campbell. She graduated from Hanna High School and attended Draughon's Business College. On May 28, 1956, Patsy married Dewayne McDonald in McAlester. They were happily married for sixty-three years. Patsy worked as a court reporter for McIntosh County. She retired in January 1993, after working for twenty-six years. Patsy was an active member of the Church of Christ. She loved spending time with friends and family and no one ever left her house hungry. The ice cream she made on the 4th of July was everyone’s favorite. Survivors include: her daughter, Donna Peterson and husband Ken of Camdenton, MO; daughter-in-law, Pam McDonald of Eufaula, OK; grandchildren, Crystal Pelley and husband Scott, Melissa Ford and husband Robby, Kaci Gibson and husband Andy, Blake McDonald, Jacob McDonald, Tyler Peterson and wife Christie and Tanner Peterson; great grandchildren: Tara Kaiser, Alessa, Aiden, and Mason Pelley, Kylee, Kenzie, and Kelsi Ford, Andy Jr, Carter, and Everett Gibson, and Rylynn Peterson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dewayne, son, Larry McDonald, brothers, Jack, Odell, & Olen Campbell and her sisters, Flora McCallie, Louise Pendley and Esteline Bean.
