Patricia Ann (Hawkins) Haley

Patricia (Hawkins) Haley, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, at the age of 81. She was the daughter of Leta and Ben Hawkins. She was born on January 20, 1940, at their home in the Shell Creek Community. She attended Shell Creek grade school and Hanna High School. She continued her education at Northeastern State University and graduated with a B.S. in Education. She taught business and elementary classes and was a 4-H Club leader for nine year at Graham Public Schools. She was then employed by the Hanna School System for twenty years. She retired from teaching because of ill health. She was married to Nathan Haley, and they had one son, Tony Haley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan, her mother, Leta, her father, Ben and two brothers, Sam and Ben. She is survived by her son, Tony Haley and wife, Sandy, of Hanna, OK, one sister, Seveda Freeman and husband Richard of Lexington, OK, and granddaughter, Misty Holmes and husband, Jeremy, and two great grandsons, Cooper and Lane of Hanna, niece Suzye Worley and husband Tony of Verdigris and a host of family and friends. Her hobbies were reading, cooking and sewing. But, her favorite thing to do was take care of her granddaughter. Misty brought a lot of joy to Pat and Nathan's lives.
