Orville Dean Stafford

Orville was born on February 6, 1930 in Vincent, Oklahoma to William Henry and Elsie (Eddings) Stafford. He attended and graduated from Eufaula High School in 1947. On June 5, 1947, Orville married Doris Marilyn Johnson in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He worked at the Stafford Cardinal Food Store from 1947 until 1951. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 24, 1951 and was honorably discharged on March 23, 1955. Orville owned and operated the Stafford Cardinal Food Store with his father and brother until they sold. He was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Doris, of the home; three sons: Harold Stafford and wife, Teri, of Moore, OK; Mike Stafford and wife, Linda, of Eufaula, OK; Glenn Stafford and wife, Patsy, of Tahlequah, OK; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie Stafford; two brothers: Henry Gene Stafford; and infant brother, Jimmy Dale Stafford.
