71-year-old Orvel Ools known as KO, and to his loved ones Papa, was born July 13th, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During the afternoon of June 12th, 2020 in his home of Crowder OK, surrounded by loved ones, angels took papa to meet Jesus at the pearly gates. Upon arriving at those gates Papa was greeted by his brother Calvin who placed a crown of jewels on his head. Alongside him was his mother, his father, and his mother in law known as Granny. Together they began to rejoice and talk about the wonders’ Papa had of his time on earth. Papa was married to Dianne Ools (Logan) for 52 beautiful years. During that time, they have eight children Sean David Ools, Brandi Michelle Blagg, Michael Don Ools, Dena lee Chaparro, Calvin Jonathan Ools, Shannon Lavonne Imler, Mary Amanda Arterberry (Mandy), and Timothy Benjamin Ools (Ben). With that came 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Papa left behind more than just children and grandchildren he left behind a legacy. Papa was a preacher most of his life. He told the world of Jesus and the joy he would bring from the front steps of a small chapel church, to sanctuaries built for thousands in the jungles of Africa. He walked this earth with beauty and grace and made sure every single person he met knew the love Jesus had to offer. Papa was an honest man who loved food, fishing, family, collecting hats, old westerns movies, mowing and road trips. His humor and charm alone would have anyone feel loved. He loved one woman and one woman only. He did his best to do right by her and loved her more than life itself. Papa was a simple man who began every morning with a cup of coffee and reading his bible. He never asked for much in this world. Only asked we loved one another and believe in Gods love. He never gave up on anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet. He was a selfless man who knew God would always provide a way. He could make you smile and save your soul if you would let him. His hands had the power to bring life back into people. When Papa laid hands on people and began to pray the earth would shake and the presences of the lord was there. Papas prayers have kept many of us alive today. There was no doubt were Papa would be going once he left this earth. Papa will live on through the voice of his children and grandchildren. He will live on through generations to come. He planted seed of greatness is thousands of people and will look down from heaven and watch them bloom. Some of Papas finally words were “If it’s time for me to go home it’s okay it’s not the end it’s only the beginning”. Papa was loved by every person he ever met. Papa as you sit up there in Heaven waiting for us to join you. We down here want to thank you. Thank you for who you were and who you will continue to be in our lives. It was a beautiful journey to have walked this earth with you. We know heaven is more beautiful than your eyes could have imagined you deserve it. Now eat and rest up and enjoy your time with family and Jesus, we will all be there soon, and it is all because of you.
