Oran Franklin Treat

Oran was born on February 21, 1937 in Shell Creek, Oklahoma to Goalman Oran and Bonnie (Burden) Treat. He attended school at Lenna and Stidham. Oran served in the United States Navy for twenty-two years, before retiring on September 1, 1985. He worked as a security guard. Oran loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: two sisters: Carolyn McGuire and husband, John, of Glenpool, OK; Lovella Shatto and husband, Floyd, of Cookson, OK; one brother, Glen Treat, of Tulsa, OK; one sister in-law, Donnell Treat, of McAlester, OK; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Joe and Michael Treat; two sisters: Freeda Parnell and Mildred Harrell.
