Oral “Charles” Epley, Jr. was born at Brooken, Oklahoma on July 28, 1939. He departed this life on July 7, 2011 at his home on Brooken Mountain. Oral worked as a heavy equipment operator until he had to retire due to his health. He loved to ride mules and coon hunt with his friends especially, Don Parker. He will deeply missed by all. Survivors include: one son, Marlin Epley and wife, Menia, of Longtown, OK; two brothers, Ray Epley, of Brooken, OK; Hughey Epley, of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Naketa Sue Barney, of Downsville, LA; four grandsons, Jeffrey, Jason, and Charlie Epley, of Longtown, OK; Justin Stephens, of Canadian, OK; one granddaughter, Tabetha Stephens, of Stuart, OK; three great grandchildren, Halie, Collin, and Zoe Epley. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many friends.
