Norene Claudette Johnson

Norene Claudette Johnson, 71, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at her home. Norene was born on December 3, 1950, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the daughter of Garnett Varnell and Nora Lee (Grigsby) Padgett. She attended Bower School thru the eighth grade and graduated from Canadian High School in 1969. On October 14, 1969, Norene married Eugene Johnson. They were happily married for fifty-two years. Norene and Gene lived in Eagle Bluff then they built their home in the Bower community. It sits on the original Bower township. Norene received a Master's Degree in Education. She taught school at Canadian Public Schools. Survivors include: her daughter, Shauna Marie Johnson; grandson, Chris Johnson; brothers, Terry Padgett and wife Lisa, Jimmie Padgett and wife Delvina; sister, Patricia Patrick and nephews Matt, Chris and Shawn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nora and Garnett Padgett, brother, Marvin Padgett, son, Chris Eugene Johnson and husband Eugene Johnson.
