Nona Ann Haltom

Nona Ann Haltom, 77, of Eufaula, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at her home. Nona was born on November 4, 1934 in Willard, Kansas to John Stanley and Viola (Burns) Martin. She worked in the medical field at the Community Hospital Lakeview for thirty years. Nona was a member of the Eufaula Business Women and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8798 for thirty-five years and where she worked as a secretary for twenty years. She was loved by all and will be missed by all. She is survived by: her eight children: Barbara Haltom, Mary Turnball, Buz Haltom, Tammy Hunn, Jeanette Smith, Billy Haltom, Rodney Haltom, and Stacy Venson; two daughter in-laws; one son in-law; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Martin; four brothers; and her son, David Haltom.
