Nell Duke

Nell was born on July 31, 1940 in San Saba, Texas to George and Erma Lou (Williams) Skaggs. She married Harold Dean Duke on November 19, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were happily married for over fifty-seven years. Nell was the Mellette Cemetery caretaker. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all. Nell was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband, Dean Duke, of the home; two daughters, Deana (Duke) Kuykendall, of Houston, TX; Karen (Duke) Bliss and husband, Wade, of Cedar Vale, KS; one daughter in-law, Karen Duke, of Eufaula, OK; six grandsons: Shawn Kuykendall; Jason Kuykendall and wife, Melissa; Chancey Bliss and wife, Jennifer; Corby Bliss and wife, Desiree; Anthony Bliss and wife, Jessica; and Christopher Duke; two granddaughters: April Duke; and Jeniffer Duke; and fourteen great grandchildren: Aubrey Bliss, Kayden Bliss, Cody Bliss, Levi Bliss, Carlie Bliss, Miley Bliss, John Bliss, Ethan Bliss, Haylie Bliss, Adalynn Bliss, Jason Kuykendall, Jr., Tristan Aman, Julian Fowler, and Kason Lacey. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Dorothy Haggerton and Marie Holt; two brothers: G.W. Skaggs and Stoney Skaggs; one son, Terry Michael Duke; and one grandson, John Calvin Kuykendall.
