Nancy Elizabeth Brannon

Nancy was born on October 19, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Lawrence Elwood "LE" and Vada Virginia (Southerland) George. She attended school in Wichita Falls, TX and Lawton High School. Nancy also attended Cameron College in Lawton. On January 19, 1972, she married Michael Buford Brannon in Lawton, Oklahoma. They were happily married for forty-seven years. Nancy took a Hebrew class with Mike and earned one of the top three grades. She was an active member of the Southern Heights United Methodist Church in Stillwater, where she and Mike lived for twenty-two years. Nancy taught the Children's Sunday School Class and helped organize Christmas for the Children's Shelter. She liked to read, fish, and do arts and crafts. Nancy did needle work and crocheted lanyards and crosses for husband. Survivors include: her husband, Mike Brannon, of the home; son, George Brannon and daughter in-law, Kendra, of Stillwater; three grandchildren: Makena, Michael, and Juliet. She is preceded in death by her parents, LE and Virginia George; and one brother, Everett George.
