Muriel Williams

Muriel Williams, 70, of Eufaula, passed away on April 5, 2018 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Muriel was born on January 24, 1948 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to George Dallas and Etta Glenn (Baker) Grider. She attended school at Eufaula Public Schools. On February 25, 1963, Muriel married Joe January in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Muriel worked in health care most of her life. Survivors include: her husband, Joe January of the home; son, Jeffrey January and wife, Charlene; daughters: Tonya Venable; and Dana Buie and husband, Barry; sister, Sue Hamlin, all of Eufaula, OK; grandchildren: Justen; Kiersten and husband, Joshua; McKenna; Rachael; Summer; and Sarah; one great grandchild, Raina. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Leon Grider, Billy Gene Grider, Pleas Grider, Joe Ray Grider, and Clell Grider; and sisters: Lois Guy, Alamo Studie, and Marlene Nixon Lambert. The family would like to thank the staff at St. John's Medical Center, Eufaula Manor Nursing Home, and Compassus Hospice for the care they provided. They would also like to thank Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home for their care during this time.
