Milton Eugene Carter

Milton Eugene Carter, 96, of Eufaula, passed away on April 5, 2020 at his home. Milton was born on September 9, 1923 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Robert Theophus and Cora (Lucas) Carter. In 1942, he graduated from Victory High School in Victory, Oklahoma. Milton served in the United States Army. He married Mary Ann Graves on August 25, 1972 in Vernon, Texas. They were happily married for forty-eight years. He worked as a farmer and car salesman, Milton and Mary moved to Eufaula in 2018 from Altus, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Eufaula First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: his wife, Mary, of the home; step daughters: Debra Sanders, of Tulsa, OK; and Sheila Graham, of Destin, FL; three step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings: Junior Carter, Daisy McCormack, and Mildred Carter. Cremation arrangements were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
