Mildred Louise Truman, 85, of Indianola passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her daughter"s home in Canadian. Mildred was born on September 6, 1929, in Nicholas County, West Virginia, the daughter of Wallace Richmond Sr. and Velda Lorena (Hudson) Morris. She attended elementary school at Dixie Grade School. On November 19, 1949, Mildred married Calvin Truman. They were married for over 25 years. On May 23, 1980, Mildred married William Ludell Truman. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2008. Mildred worked as a chef at Val Genes in Oklahoma City for 15 years. She was a baker for Furr"s Cafeteria for 10 years and also worked at the Dairy Queen on NW 10th in OKC for 8 years. She was a member of the North Mount Homa Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and advisor. Survivors include: her sons, Bobby R. Truman, and Jack L. Truman; her daughters, Sunday L. Truman Hernandez, Brenda Kay Truman, Sherry Darlene Truman and Shelia Kelly; her brothers, Delmas E. Morris and Wallace R. Morris; her sisters, Glenna Jean Morris, Roberta Lynn aka Janet Truman and Rhonda La-fon Hendrix; six grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Calvin and William; her sons, Jerry Truman and William L. Truman, Jr., her brothers, Donald Morris, Dennis Morris, Carl Edward Morris, James Kenny Morris and Dallas Murl Morris and her sisters, Dolly Lykins, Verla G. Kelly and Dorris Shinault. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations, c/o Sunday Hernandez, P.O. Box 363, Canadian, OK 74425.
