Mildred Dorothy LaMar, 91, of Eufaula passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. Mildred was born on March 5, 1924, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Grady and Alta (Cox) Doussett. After the dust bowl days, Mildred moved to California where she worked as a cafeteria manager for Pioneer High School in California. She lived in California until 1978, when she returned to Oklahoma and built a house on the lake. She married Chester LaMar on January 26, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mildred worked at Douglas during World War II. She was a member of the Rolling Bedouins. She enjoyed camping and water skiing for 25-30 years. Survivors include: her husband, Chester of the home; her son, Danny LaMar and wife Retta of Eufaula; her grandchildren, Tammie of Tulsa and Crystal of Eufaula; her sister, Margaret Doussett of Minnesota; four other grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Tatumn and Marina. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Russell J. LaMar and Two sisters, Onie Hamilton and Wanda Hall.
