Rest In Peace, Mike... Michael Dell "Mike" Jackson, 68, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, transitioned Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the OSU Select Specialty Hospital of Tulsa. Mike was born on June 5, 1953, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the second born son of ten to George "Sam" and Johnnie Mae (Shaver) Jackson. He graduated from Eufaula High School in the class of 1971. Shortly after graduation, Mike entered the United States Army on a buddy plan with special friend, Harold Hornsby. He played semi-pro football for the Wichita Flyers in Wichita, Kansas. Mike worked as a cross-country truck driver as well as working for the City of Tulsa and the City of Eufaula. He enjoyed barbequing, cooking, music and spending time with his family laughing and joking. Mike was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, formerly Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, under Rev. Ned Osborn Those left to cherish his memory: his daughter, Yvette Jackson of Eufaula; brothers, George Jackson (Wichita, KS), Jerry Jackson (Tulsa), Phillip Jackson and wife Taniti (Tulsa), Vincent Jackson (Tulsa) Bernet Jackson (Dallas, TX), Carlos Jackson (Washington DC), and Jason Jackson (Eufaula); sisters, Mary Ella Jackson (Tulsa), Cheryl Jackson Ratliff and husband Calvin (Tulsa), Ruby Jackson (Tulsa), Nita Jackson (Tulsa), Emily Jackson (Midwest City), Pam Jackson, Carol Jackson and Toni Jackson (Eufaula); grandchildren Destiny, Kierston, and Khelil Deere; great grandchildren, Khloe, KaMaya, Daeviny and Drayden. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, a brother, Stanley Porter and a niece, Tonia Jackson Todd.
