Michael George Rooks

Michael was born on November 15, 1965, in Mangum, Oklahoma the son of Robert Gene Rooks and Janet Marie Nixon. He attended school in Eufaula. On September 25, 2009, Michael married Debra Sue Hall in Taft, Oklahoma. He worked in the carnival industry and traveled all over the United States. He was also a carpenter. Survivors include: his wife, Debbie, of the home; his son, Cameron Peters of Nebraska; daughter, Crystal Salgabo of Muskogee; brothers, Steve Rooks of Forrest City, Arkansas and John Fowler of Muskogee; sisters, Neta Horton of Stidham and Katrena Horton and husband Mack also of Stidham; step children, Derrick and Rachel Hall, Steven and Janelle Cagle, Crystal and Jose Perales and Robbie and Candice Hall; and twenty-one grandchildren. Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
