Matthew Aaron Lawson

Matthew Aaron Lawson, 22, of Canadian, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021. Matthew was born on April 16, 1999, the son of Earl David and Margaret Adele Watson Lawson. He attended Canadian Public Schools where he was active in football, baseball and FFA. Matthew worked in construction. He loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include: his parents, David and Margaret Lawson, of the home; son, Alexavier Lawson; brother, Daniel Ray Lawson and wife Sherry of Warner; sisters, Racheal Lynn Cox and husband Jimmy of Council Hill, Sara Adele Rector and husband Colten of Oktaha and Heather Renee Bumgarner and husband Jim Dismuke of Checotah; his maternal grandmother, Linda Satter of Eufaula; maternal great grandmother, Georgia Thornhill of Eufaula and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Lester Lawson and Zella Virginia Lawson and his maternal grandfather, Edward "Eddie" Watson.
