Mary Lee Gentry

Mary Lee Gentry, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma passed away June 26, 2014 at Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 28, 1935 in Prague, Oklahoma to Floyd Trammell and Audrey (Schwantes) Trammell. She graduated from Centerview High School in 1953. Mary Lee married J.B. Gentry on October 19, 1955 in Prague, Oklahoma. They were blessed with 4 children: Debby, Mike, Gail and Jerilyn. She worked for AT&T in Oklahoma City while residing in Prague. She and J.B. moved to Thomas, Oklahoma in 1968 where she began working at 3M in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She retired from 3M in 1996 after a 27 year career. She and J.B. then made their home in Eufaula. Mary Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church, as well as the First Baptist Church Kitchen Crew. She volunteered many hours at God"s Helping Hand. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, J.B. Gentry of the home; daughter, Debby Schroeder and husband, Jerald of Eufaula; their children, Micheal Jordan and wife, Lynnette of Edmond, Kristel Jordan of Kingfisher, and Jason Jordan of Shawnee; son, Mike Gentry and wife, Teresa and their daughter, Brandy Gentry of Eufaula; daughter, Gail Christensen and husband, Clay; their children, Erica Miles and husband, Jonathan, Kimmy Williams and husband, Robby, and Abbey Christensen all of Edmond; daughter, Jerilyn Spitz and husband, Clint; their children, Caitlin and Christian Spitz all of Overland Park, KS; 5 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Audrey Trammell; brothers, Claude, Jack and Jimmie Trammell; and granddaughter, Kelsey Lee Christensen.
