Mary Frances Edwards

Mary was born on October 4, 1929 in Lenna, Oklahoma to Major Chester and Carrie Earl (Wood) Morrison. She attended grade and high school at Stidham, but later graduated from Arvin High School. On March 21, 1947, Mary married Cecil Edwards, who preceded her in death on January 22, 1986. They were happily married for over thirty-nine years. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her daughters: Kathleen Minyard and husband, John of Lenna, OK; Melanie Mansour and husband, Joseph, of Henderson, NV; sister, Dorothy Reed, of Eufaula, OK; four grandchildren: David Minyard and wife, Teresa; Billy Bebee, Joey Mansour, and Mathew Mansour; and one great granddaughter, Kaylee Bebee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Edwards; parents, Major and Carrie Morrison; two brothers: Levi and Buford Morrison; four sisters: Leora Copeland, Heidi Morrison, Haiti Jones, and Elizabeth Spears.
