Mary Elizabeth Trunk

Mary Elizabeth Trunk, 95, of Eufaula, passed away on July 18, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary was born on March 24, 1922 in Wooster, Ohio to Henry S. and Cora Olive (Dennis) Petty. On November 30, 1941, she married Gene Willard Trunk, who preceded her in death on August 25, 2011. They were happily married for seventy years. Mary worked as a waitress for a short time. She later worked at a jewelry store in Seminole, Oklahoma until her retirement. Survivors include: her son, Thomas Trunk, of Houston, TX; daughter, Vera Brandt and husband, Wolf, of the home; and one grandson, Eric Brandt, of the home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Trunk; father, Henry Petty; mother, Cora Dennis Petty; one brother, Paul Petty; and step-mother, Bertha Petty. Family visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
