Mary Edythe Keenan

Mary Edythe Keenan, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, in Dequeen, AR. Mary was born on December 4th, 1941, in Guthrie, OK, to Harold Paul and Mary Elsie (Lindsley) Shanahan. After graduating high school she moved to Edmond where she raised her family before settling in Eufaula. Mary married Leo Joseph Keenan on July 2, 1986, in Pagosa Springs, CO. She worked in food service as a manager for Braum's and training manager Long John Silver's. She later drove a school bus for the Edmond school district. She also spent many tireless hours working at God's Helping Hand. Mary was an avid crafter of wood crafts and enjoyed painting. Her greatest passion was her picture taking of all things beautiful. Mary is survived by her husband Leo Keenan of the home; daughters, Mary Pearce of DeQueen, AR, and Dawn Denton of Norman, Ok; sons, Guy Keenan of Cumming GA, and Shane Keenan of Harrah, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Shanahan; and son, Billy Davis III.
