Martha was born on January 30, 1923 in Kinta, Oklahoma to Isaac Newton and Lucrecia (Posey) Wallis. In 1938, she married Jordan Charles "J.C." Williams, who preceded her in death in 1991. They were happily married for over fifty-three years. Martha worked at Stigler canning and Elsing Manufacturing in McAlester and Eufaula. Most of her life, she worked as a farmer and took care of her family. Martha enjoyed quilting, gardening, and flowers. She was a member of the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Quinton. Martha was either in or around Quinton all of her life. Survivors include: her daughters: Erma Miller and husband, Jay, of Quinton, OK; Norma Cool and husband, Roy, of West Virginia; Alice Lou Hinchey and husband, Benny, of Tulsa, OK; sons: Charles "Chuck" Williams and wife, Donna, of Quinton, OK; Thomas Williams and wife, Pam, of Wetumka, OK; daughter in-law, Wanda Williams, of Quinton, OK; brother, Isaac Newton Wallis, Jr. and wife, Edith, of Sperry, OK; sister, Della Edwards, of Shady Point, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Williams, Sr.; son, J.C. Williams, Jr.; great grandson, Scotty Hinchey; her parents; and ten siblings.
