Marlene Gail Strome, 68, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Texas. Marlene was born on June 15, 1944 in Chico, California to Earl and Alice (Cambra) Gibson. She attended school in Chico, California. On December 15, 1975, Marlene married Owen Strome, who preceded her in death in 2005. She worked as a manager at Star Concessions. Marlene lived in the Eufaula area before moving to Texas to be closer to her children. She loved to work, go to the casino, and spend time with her family. Survivors include: her children, Bill Crawford and wife, Dana, of Tomball, TX; Keith Crawford, of Hurst, TX; twins, Arlene Billings and Darlene Ladner and husband, Danny, both of Irving, TX; Jonda Sedlack and husband, Aaron, of Austin, TX; and Belinda Strome Valdez and husband, George, of Sacramento, CA; one brother, Robert Earl Gibson; two sisters, Claudia Aldred and Shirley Tisserand; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Alice (Cambra) Gibson; her husband, Owen Strome; one daughter, Melissa Strome; and one sister, Christine Jenson.
