Marilyn Alice Hayes

Marilyn Alice Hayes, 89, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wilbur B. and Inez (Steward) Murphy. She graduated from Classen High School in 1949. Marilyn received her Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University. Marilyn married Leo M. Hayes and they were married for over thirty-five years. She worked for American Fidelity Assurance Company and was a Second Vice President when she retired. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Eufaula and the Texanna Lady Crafters. Survivors include: her daughter, Cheryle Burns of Lakewood, Colorado; her sister, Elaine Morrison; great granddaughter, Michaela and husband Nick Langfield; great great grandson, Jaxson Langfield and many other family and friends in the community. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur B. and Inez Murphy; her husband, Leo Hayes; son, Richard Oliver; grandsons, Daniel Burns and Adam Oliver.
