Margaret Carole Cooper Thompson, 75, of Hartshorne, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Margaret was born on August 8, 1939 in Featherston, Oklahoma to William Jefferson and Edna Cooper. She graduated from Hartshorne High School in 1956. She worked as a surgical technician for five years at the Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa. She also worked as a nurse"s aide and as a private nurse. Margaret enjoyed making wedding cakes, reading her bible and spending time with her family and dogs. She loved Jesus and spreading the word of God. Survivors include: her son, Joe Thompson and wife Valerie of McAlester; her daughters, Jane Ann Cummings and husband, John, of Centerton, AR, Jan Thompson Carr and husband Brennen of Sapulpa and Julie L. Nelson of Muskogee; her brothers, William R. Cooper and wife Donna of Anadarko, Tommy Cooper of Tulsa and Stephen Cooper also of Tulsa; her sisters, Glenda Grafton of Tulsa and Mary Emery of Broken Arrow. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren, Troy, Kimmie, Rachel, Justin, Ashtyn, Kaetlin, Chase and Colten and her two great grandchildren, Madelyn and Paisley. She is preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Sean Grafton.
