Margaret Ann Nichols

Margaret Ann Nichols, 52, of Muskogee, passed away Sunday March 24, 2013 at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born on August 29, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of James Cecil and Mae Bell (Drone) Crabtree Sr. She was the sixth child of eight born to this union. Margaret attended and graduated from South High in Wichita, Kansas in 1978. She later moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma where she met and married Jerry Don Nichols, Sr. on June 17, 1981. Shortly after, she began working as a cook with the Eufaula Senior Citizens where she worked for many years. Margaret loved the Lord and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jerry Don Nichols, of the home; her mother, Mae Bell Crabtree of Muskogee, OK; her mother-in-law, Lorine Collins of Eufaula, OK; her sons, Cecil Melvin Crabtree of El Paso, Texas and Jerry Don Nichols, Jr. of Eufaula; her daughter, Andradia Denise Newton and husband Frank of Muskogee; her brothers, Malcolm Drone of Vallejo, California and James Cecil Crabtree, Jr. of Lawton; her sisters, Floray McClain and husband Charles of Wichita, Kansas, Shelia Golden and husband Jack also of Wichita and Marlene Billings and husband Joshua of Muskogee; sister-in-laws, Donna Sue Anderson and husband Clarence of Eufaula, OK, Patricia Mundy and husband Warren of Eufaula, OK, Sandra Nichols of Eufaula, OK; brother-in-laws, Perry Nichols of Eufaula, OK, Michael Nichols of Eufaula, OK; her grandchildren Brianna Crabtree, Orlando Crabtree, Corrie Crabtree of Eufaula, OK, Ti Andre Nichols, Abria Nichols, Walker Newton of Muskogee, OK; Aleah Nichols of Tulsa, OK, her great-grandson Treylen Nichols of Muskogee, OK; her daughter-in-law and special friend Christin Camp of Eufaula and her dear friend Mary Gregg of Owasso, OK. Margaret is preceded in death by her father James Crabtree Sr; two sisters, Marcia Crabtree and Teresa Crabtree; her son, Orlando Crabtree; nephew, Walter Brown IV and niece Ashley Brown.
