Lynda Sue Barrett

Lynda S. Barrett, 77 of Eufaula, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in Muskogee. Lynda was born on January 4, 1942, in Snyder, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack and Oneita Parsons. She was baptized on July 29, 1962 at Cashion Baptist Mission Church. On December 15, 1962, Lynda married Jewel Edward Barrett in Cashion, Oklahoma. They were happily married for forty-three years. She was a member of the Texanna Assembly of God Church. Lynda enjoyed being a preacher's wife. She loved to sing and play piano at church and home and birds of all types, but especially hummingbirds. Survivors include her son, John Barrett and wife Leslie, her daughter, Julie McDonald and husband Tubby of Eufaula, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Parsons.
