Lulla Beatrice Martin

Lulla Beatrice Martin, 86, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Beatrice was born on January 27, 1926, in Rural McIntosh County, the daughter of Jeneral Jackson and Sarah Elizabeth (Breedlove) Casey. In 1942, Beatrice married V.J. Martin in Eufaula. She worked as a dietician at the Calaveras Hospital in San Andreas, California and later the Eufaula Hospital in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Beatrice was a member of the Vivian Baptist Church. Survivors include: her brother-in-law, Argie and wife Aina Martin of California; her nephews, Roger Casey of Oklahoma City, Franklin Casey of Tulsa, Roy Casey of Tulsa and Joe Roy and wife Helen Casey of Checotah; her nieces, Betty Reynolds and husband Rudolph of Eufaula, Retha F. Millard of Prue and Nadine Chambers of Skiatook. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Mariam, Troy, Roy and Coy Casey and her sisters, Della Casey, Angela Casey, Gladys Huff and Arvzene Wright.
