Lula Lorene Buie

Lula Lorene Buie, 77, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Lula was born on December 31, 1943, in Crowder, Oklahoma, the daughter of Everett Eugene and Ava (Wood) Boatner. She graduated from McAlester High School in 1962 and attended college in Wilburton. On March 2, 1965, Lula married Earl Dean Buie. They were happily married for fifty-four years. Lula was a collector of recipes. She loved to visit and spend time with people. Survivors include: her sons, Barry Dean Buie and wife Dana of Eufaula and Richard Brian Buie and wife Robyn of Perry; eight grandchildren; her brother, Mike Boatner and wife Teresa of Glenpool and her sister, Sue Miller of Jenks. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Eugene Boatner and a sister-in-law, Sandye.
