Lucinda Lou Tiger

Lucinda Lou Tiger, 96, of Okmulgee, passed away on June 28, 2018 . Lou was born on March 6, 1922 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Coleman C. and Hepsey (Scott) Lewis. She attended school at Eufaula. On April 10, 1939 Lou married Johnny Tiger, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 15, 1998. They were happily married for fifty-nine years. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for Muskogee Public Schools. Lou was a member of the West Eufaula Indian Baptist Church. She was the oldest member of the Alabama-Quassarte Tribal Town. Survivors include: her daughter, Rosalie "Rita" Tiger, of Eufaula, OK; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Johnny Tiger, Jr., Kenneth Tiger, Jerome Richard Tiger, and Marcy Tiger; daughter, Little Mary Tiger; brothers: Johnson and Coleman Lewis, Jr.; sister, Rosalie Lewis; and grandsons: Kenneth Lewis Tiger, Jr., Jerome Christopher Coleman Tiger.
