Louise was born on June 16, 1929, in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Jimmy and Birdie (Abbott) Cain. She attended grade school in Springville, California and graduated from Porterville High School. On February 10, 1951, Louise married Paul George Gaston in Porterville, California, raising two children together. They were happily married for fifty-nine years. Louise and Paul lived in California until 1990, when Paul retired and they moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of the Southern Baptist Church and recently attended the First Freewill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. Survivors include: her daughter, Peggy Jean Long and husband Michael, of Eufaula; her son, Phillip Gaston, of Eufaula; her granddaughter, BJ Drake and husband Kevin of Eufaula; her grandson, Joshua Yorba of Porterville, California; her great grandchildren, Gage Dean Durrett, Noah Glade Drake and Adrian Marcus Yorba, Angel Yorba and Swayze Paul Yorba; her sister, Pauleen Stevenson and her brother, Stanley Stevenson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Paul on December 1, 2011.
