Louella June Downum

Louella June Downum, 73, passed away on December 8, 2016 at her home. Louella was born on January 18, 1943 to Orbrey Ethelbert and Eula Elene (Bailey) Willmon. She graduated from Eufaula High School in 1961. On February 17, 1962, Louella married Vester Virlis Downum. They were happily married for over fifty-four years. She was a homemaker all her life. Louella enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a member of the Stidham Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Vester Downum, of the home; daughter, Melody Carroll and husband, Dennis, of Bixby, OK; son, Von Downum, of Tulsa, OK; brother, Billy Ray Willmon and wife, Carolyn, of Bakersfield, CA; sister, LaVada Beebe and husband, Dave, of Muskogee, OK; four grandchildren: Trey Downum, Thomas R. McIntosh, Karissa McIntosh, and Christian McIntosh; and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, J.D. Willmon.
