Loretta Jean Tunis

Loretta Jean (Nixon) Tunis, 60, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Henryetta. She was born on April 13, 1960, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Kenneth Ray and Bobbie Jean (Brown) Nixon. She graduated from Checotah High School in 1978. She received her Computer Science degree from Connors State College in 1991. Loretta worked as a cook from both Fountainhead and Arrowhead Resorts. Survivors include: her daughters, Chanteau Nixon-Diggins of Okemah, Gina King of Lexington and Alicia Crews and husband John of Perry; her sisters, Sherri Hazelwood and husband Kenneth of Krebs, Patty Adams of Jenks and Brenda Carman and husband Tracy of Okemah; and eight grandchildren, Lensie Lambert, Bradley Lambert, Hunter Diggins, Tenicee King, Jackson King, Aalylia Crews, Troy Crews, and Kaylie Crews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
