Lois M. French, 77, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the Pleasant Valley Health Care Center in Muskogee. Lois was born on February 18, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lester and Bessie Mae (Hallum) Roach. She graduated from Porter High School in 1961. When her children were young she was an active parent with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and PTA. Lois worked at Wal-Mart in Muskogee for twenty-five years. She then worked at Nichols grocery in Eufaula. On April 15, 1992, Lois married Don French in Miami, Oklahoma. They were happily married for eighteen years. She loved gardening and planting flowers especially her rose bushes. She loved the lake and dancing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her MaMaw. Survivors include: her sons, Steve Cook and wife Lori of Muskogee and Chad French of Eufaula; her daughters, Melody Fryar of Muskogee, Teri French Ridings of Oregon and Seresa Kesselring of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Cameron Reynolds, Madison Cook, Chelsea Moffett and husband Kyle, Montana Cook and Carlee Fryar. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don, and a sister, Margaret Ann Howell.
