Lois Anita Haltom, 90, of Eufaula, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Eastgate Village Nursing Home. Lois was born on March 7, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas to Thomas Bog and Lois Ann (Williams) Gunter. She attended Putnam City Schools. On August 2, 1950, Lois married Phillip Farrell Long, in Mansfield, AR and the two were married until his passing on November 1, 1994. She then married Harold Haltom on October 17, 1997, in Las Vegas, NV. Lois worked at Tinker for twenty nine years. She was also a life member of the Eufaula VFW Post 8798 Ladies Auxiliary. Lois loved working in her garden and her roses, and the lake life.
Survivors include: her husband, Harold Haltom, of the home; son; Farrell Long of Midwest City, OK; daughters, Phyllis Pruett and husband Randy of Norman, OK, Emily Hunt and husband Jim of Harrah, OK, Beverly Allen and husband John of Kansas City, MO, Sharron Roberts and husband Kenny of Brooken, OK, and Candy Kilgore and husband Kenny of Newalla, OK; sister, Cecelia Williams of Midwest City, OK; grandchildren, Tammy, John, Brandon, Dawn, Kevin, Kellie, Kris, Anthony, Michelle, Cassie, Cody, Katie, April, and Julye; twenty nine great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lois Gunter; brothers, Thomas, Bobby and Homer; sisters, Christine, Linda and Vickie; great grandsons, Tyler Lowe and Tucker Kilgore.
