Linda Sue Rodgers

Linda Sue Rodgers, 80, of Eufaula, passed away on July 22, 2022 at her home. Linda was born on May 22, 1942 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Jess and Billie Louise (Hoyst) Dabbs. She attended school in Eufaula. On October 6, 1958, Linda married Donald Buie. To this union, four children were born. They were happily married for thirty-five years, before he preceded her in death on March 15, 1994. Linda worked as an LPN for several years. She later married Ed Rodgers on July 26, 1996. They were married for thirteen years, before he preceded her in death on December 28, 2009. Linda enjoyed shopping. Survivors include: two sons: Jerry Don Buie and wife, Sherry and Allan Ray Buie and wife, Kirsten; daughter, Donna Sue Coffman and husband, Danny, all of Eufaula; sister, Sandra Kay Freeman and husband, Cecil, of Woodward; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Billie Fries; first husband, Donald Buie; daughter, Debra Lynn Richards, sister, Carol Ann Franklin, second husband, Ed Rodgers, and grandson, James Allen Nester.
