Linda Gail Pinney, 71, of Eufaula, passed away on June 20, 2023, at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Linda was born on October 9, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas to Harold Davis and Mary Alice (Cheney) Pinney. She graduated from Leilehua High School in Hawaii in 1969. Linda attended Northeastern State University and received her Associates Degree from Connors State College. She worked as an EMT for over twenty years and also taught First Responders. Linda loved the outdoors, day tripping, and spending time with her family and friends and Rodney.
Survivors include: her spouse of 32 years, Felecia East, of the home; children: Jody Mills, of Mannford, Oklahoma, Spencer Mills and Stephanie Stimson of Claremore, Oklahoma, Bethany Mills, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Capri East, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Landon Mills, Ava Mills, and Aiden Stimson, Ivy Tacket and Pryor Tacket; siblings: Randy Pinney of Owasso, Oklahoma and Debbie Pinney of Eufaula, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews and assorted strays. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold, and Mary Alice Pinney; and one sister, Peggy Pinney.
A Kum & Go service will be held July 8, 2023, from 2- 4pm at Duchess Creek Pavilion. We’ll be communing with nature and celebrating memories of camp trips and pie bakes, fiascos and adventures and all the rest. So feel free to stop on by and bring a favorite story to share.
