Leonard Elvin Mccorkle

Leonard was born on December 8, 1929 in Meridian, OK to Leonard Lee and Alice Anna (Raupe) McCorkle. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1948. Leonard served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War veteran. On August 10, 1976, he married Kathryn May Brown in Idabel, OK. Leonard worked as a construction supervisor. Survivors include: his wife, Kathryn McCorkle, of the home; two sons: Wayne McCorkle and wife, Cheryl; Richard McCorkle and wife, Amy, all of Guthrie, OK; one daughter, Cheryl Lawson, of OKC, OK and son Tony Chitwood, of Sulphur Springs, TX; one brother, Bob McCorkle and wife, Mary, of Norman, OK; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Harold.
