Leo Allen Brasuell

April 12, 1926 — July 24, 2012

Leo was born on April 12, 1926, in Stidham, Oklahoma the son of Oscar Burl and Jennie Mae (McIntosh) Brasuell. He graduated from Hitchita High School and then received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. On January 17, 1947, Leo married Bobbie Jean Allison in Okmulgee. They were happily married for 65 years. Leo worked for Schlumberger for twenty-three years. He later worked for Creek Nation in appraisals for thirteen years. Leo was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife, Bobbie, of the home; his son, Stephen of Madisonville, Louisiana; his brothers, Perry Brasuell of Monterey, California, and Wallace Brasuell of Broken Arrow; his sisters, Burldene of Claremore and Johnnie of Catoosa; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Leo is preceded in death by his parents, his son, David Brasuell, one brother, Harley and two sisters, Wynona and Nina Lou.
