Lawrence Honel

Lawrence Kermit Honel, 91, passed away on July 5th, 2022, in Tulsa, Ok. Lawrence was born on March 12,1931, to Edwin J and Florence (Miller) Honel in Tomah, WI. He attended high school in Tomah, WI, and started working for Badger Meter Company in 1950. In 1961 Lawrence branched out with the company and moved to Tulsa, OK, and worked there until 1993. He was with the company for a total of fourty-three years. On June 6, 1953 Lawrence married Alvera Alice Bailey in Tomah, WI, and the two were married for almost sixty years. Lawrence is survived by his sons; Brian Honel and wife Melissa and Brad Honel and wife Melissa, daughter; Brenda Brown and husband Dave, all of Canadian, OK, six grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son; Bruce, three grandchildren; Audra, Danny and Adam.
