Laura Ruth Davis

Laura Ruth Davis, 98, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Ruth was born on March 1, 1926, in Healdton, Ok, the daughter of Franklin Leslie Arnold and Mary Estelle (Powell) Arnold. Ruth attended Healdton Public Schools. On May 1,1946 she married William Delbert Davis in Lawton, Ok.

Ruth worked 10 years in the sewing factory. Ruth was a Homemaker who enjoyed staying home and taking care of the kids.

Ruth was of the Methodist Faith. She loved to sew, sing, make quilt tops, scrapbook, crochet and spend time with her family.

Survivors include: four sons Les Davis and wife Darlene of Duncan, Ok, Kenneth (Kenny) Davis and wife Patricia of Duncan, Ok, Terry Davis of Checotah, Ok, and Roger Davis and wife Zelda of Duncan, Ok; three daughters Debe Hickman of Krebs, Ok, Gayla Beshear of Muskogee, Ok and Annette Collins and husband Vern of Canadian, Ok; thirteen grandchildren Jason Deemer, Mickey Deemer, Charlesa Willson, Michael Davis, Chris Doss, Bobbi Jo Davis, Amanda Davis, Wayne Beshear, Angella Lynch, Samantha West, Laura Archer, Joshua Sizemore, Karisa Cogburn; thirty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Delbert Davis. One daughter Lynda Deemer and Denny. One brother Floyd Arnold. Grandson Timothy (Timmy) Davis, One grandson-in-law Mike Willson. Three sisters Hazel, Edna and Dorothy. One son-in-law Alex Hickman.
