Laura Denise Garrison

Laura Denise Garrison, 66, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee. Laura was born on April 7, 1954, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert and Billie Jo (Shannon) Knight. She graduated from high school and received her Bachelor's degree. Laura worked as a mental health therapist. Laura dedicated her life to improving the quality of lives of others in her community and surrounding areas. She was a dedicated license counselor since 1993. She loved her family and friends and was loved by them in return. She loved dancing, music, and karaoke. She was so tenderhearted that if she loved you, she loved you with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Survivors include: her son, Jay Pierce, of Eufaula; her daughter, Shannon Pratt Wilson of Eufaula; a sister, Cynthia Driggers; six grandchildren, Desting Jennings, Cameron Graziani, Josh Wilson, Jordan Pierce, Jessica Pierce and Jacob Pierce and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, a her brothers, Michael Knight, Leo Knight, Sonny Knight, and Billy Gene Knight.
